The ranking of businesses featured in the 2023 Inc. 5000 list is based on the percentage increase in their revenue from 2019 to 2022. In order to be eligible, companies must have been established and generating income by March 31, 2019, operating within the United States, privately owned, profit-oriented, and autonomous entities—not subsidiaries or divisions of other corporations—as of December 31, 2022. (It’s important to note that since that time, some listed companies might have become publicly traded or undergone acquisitions.)
To qualify, companies need to have achieved a minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2019 and at least $2 million in 2022. Inc. retains the right to reject applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used for determining rankings were computed up to four decimal places.
